Music theory is a fundamental part of all my lessons, but sometimes that 30 minute instrumental lesson isn't enough to reach the theory knowledge you aspire to. As you progress to higher levels of playing, music theory becomes an essential piece of the puzzle that turns you into a great musician. Whether you're aiming to pass your AMEB practical examinations, sit your AMEB theory exams, get extra help with VCE music subjects or compose your own music, my theory lessons are sure to get you where you need to be! 

Students learn music theory, history, aural skills and composition, with the option to sit their AMEB exams at the conclusion of each Theory Grade Level. Learning doesn't have to be boring, so my lessons are filled with practical activities to enhance retention of information, aid in comprehension of concepts, and take "book-learning" out of the book and into the real world, achieving excellent results.
